Resources to Enrich Your Faith

Welcome!
Whether you are just visiting for a short while, have moved here and are joining our parish, or are returning to your Catholic Faith, on behalf of our staff and all the parishioners of our parish, I want to personally welcome you to St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in New Carlisle, IN.

When Jesus was asked which of all the commandments was the greatest, he replied, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” These two Commandments form the foundation of our mission at St. Stanislaus Kostka. Love of God from which flows love of neighbor. We hope you feel this the moment you walk in the door!

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, celebrated reverently and beautifully, is at the heart of the First of these Commandments. Worship of God and the Eucharist is “the source and summit of our Christian life.” From this worship of God, we at St. Stanislaus Kostka then go out into the world to love our neighbor. This love of neighbor begins at home, in serving each other in our parish family.

God has given each of us great gifts, gifts which He intends for us to use to help build up His kingdom here on earth. At St. Stanislaus Kostka there are many opportunities to use the gifts God has given you to serve Him and His Church. Please refer to our website and Parish Bulletin to see where God may be calling you to participate in this mission. We are very glad you are here and look forward to getting to know you. Welcome to St. Stanislaus Kostka parish!

God bless,

Fr. Bob Garrow
Pastor.
